I have recommended this huller to many of my friends - lost one just the other day and sent my daughter immediately to get another one....I love it that much. I don't even know what I would do without it....oh yes, I do - I freeked out when I could not find it, my friend was there with me and we had a ton of strawberries to hull. I could not wait for my daughter to get back with it. What I love is how easy it takes the top of the strawberry leaf off, and I especially like how it takes the white pithy thing out of the center of the strawberry only leaving the beautiful red berry. I was making freezer strawberry jam, and I love that my jam looks even redder because of the pith out. This just grabs the green with surgical precision, and a slight twist removes everything you want. OUt of any of my culinary tools, this is on the top of my list
SLT sent me a $10.00 "come in the store and use this, sucker" coupon. Of course I walked out of the store with about $50.00 in merchandise AFTER the coupon... But this little guy is one thing I got and I have to say it is a gem that I can't do without now. This will make short work of ANY little round thing you need to pick out. Potato eyes. Tomato tops. Even picking seeds out of lemons or limes. I love this tool!
