Favorite Veggie Omelet Pan
I like the way my veggies and omelet cook, better than any other pan I've used. The pan is thick enough so the heat moderates and distributes evenly across the bottom.

My only complaint is egg sticks to the shiny rivets inside the pan that hold the handle.

I love these pans. They are totally nonstick and you can wash them in the dishwasher. Couldn't be better.

Never going back to "Teflon Coated"!
I have had my two pans now for nine months and use the 8 1/2 all the time (The way it's shaped, it actually feels like a 10").

I have had the cheap nonstick and I have had the expensive nonstick pans -- these are by far the best I have found and cooked with, and I have been cooking for a long time. The price is great!

Though they are "dishwater safe", I have never put them in the dishwasher -- call me old school -- Good knives and "nonstick pans" just don't belong in there. A good soak is all you need if you have a crusty bottom!

Does the food really taste better...!?
I love to cook. I'm no chef, but I know my way around a kitchen. Love these skillets...especially the handles that don't get warm. Not much better in the world than working with children preparing healthy food that still tastes good and looks fun.

Always in use!
These have become the go-to pans in our kitchen. With four people cooking this summer, the fact that they are amazingly easy to clean is a huge plus. The small one seems to be used most for frying eggs...which get slipped between bagel halves...with some bacon or cheese...and become fabulous breakfast sandwiches. The 10 inch makes omelets for breakfast, grilled cheese for lunch--often with large, odd-shaped bread--and can often be found reheating veggies for someone who missed dinner.
In fact, I'm online now ordering a second set for my son's apartment. Lucky boy.

My 20 year old pans, inexpensive, died. This sale was my answer. I look forward to at least another 20 plus with these new improved pans.

I am curious; why is it recommended to use the skillets on low to medium only on the stove top? I use high heat many times.
A shopper on Sep 15, 2014
Best Answer: Using these skillets on high may compromise the interior of the nonstick surface, causing it to pit & flake away over time.

Best Answer: I do not have the answer. I have a glass top electric range.

Does this set come with a lid?
A shopper on Dec 5, 2014
Best Answer: No, this set does NOT come with lids, though you can purchase a matching set of 2 glass lids for it. I did this. Please note- the lids are not a 100% perfect, super tight fit because of the sharp angle of the sides of the pans, the lid rims cannot go "deeper" into the pan because of this. And on the 8 1/2" pan, the lid stops at the rivets in the interior. But really, it's no big deal, maybe I'm just too particular. I'm very happy with my pan and separate lid set.

What is the Sur la tab Non-stick 10" pan warranty? How Long can I expect these pans to last, if taking care of properly? I hang each pan carefully, hand wash w/ soap, and only use olive oil, butter or other oils to cook with; no spray i.e. Pam.

Best Answer: Hi Julie. I've had my full 10 pc set for over 15 years. Only reason I had to replace my 10 inch skillet was due to a careless roommate (ex now) that cut meat in side of my skillet while cooking and destroyed the non stick finish inside the skillet. I have taken care of my set, much like you have mentioned above, re-hand washing and drying. I stack my set in my cabinet, using paper towels between each pan to avoid scratching.
Like I said my set is 15 years old, I use low heat settings and hand wash and dry and I think my set will last another 15 years easily. Good luck with your set Julie.
GM, a happy senior customer.

how to clean nonstick skillet ?
A shopper on Jan 14, 2015
Best Answer: Use soap and water with a nonabrasive sponge or dishcloth. Since the skillet is coated, do not use an abrasive sponge as this will damage the skillet's coating.

What is the "Limited warranty" on these pans and does using the pans on a high setting void the warranty (since it is recommended to use on low or medium settings)?
Nancy G on Jan 20, 2015
Best Answer: Per our guarantee, if you wish to return these skillets at any time, you will receive your money back in the form of original payment provided you have a receipt, or if you do not have a receipt you will receive a gift card for their current selling price.
Because this is a limited warranty, things like using high heat or metal utensils can void it.

What type of utensils can be used with this cookware?
A shopper on May 24, 2015
Best Answer: I only use wooden or non-scratch utensils - You could probably use whatever utensil you want, it is such fine cookware. I love it.

Best Answer: They are the same, I have the silicone handled ones in my kitchen and wanted to buy a set for my daughter. I bought the silver handles as her kitchen didn't match the handle colors and was very pleased that it is the same pan. I love them. You might want the silver if you plan on putting them under the broiler. Hope that helps.

what are the inside bottom diameters of the pans?
A shopper on Jul 17, 2015
Best Answer: the small pan has a 6 inch flat bottom and the larger has a 7 1/4 inch flat bottom. hope that helps. I love these pans, nothing sticks and they are wearing really well.
