Is not the nutrient value of Grade B better than Grade A?
Raini S on Sep 20, 2015
Best Answer: No, it isn't. Maple syrup is graded solely on its color. Grade A maple syrup is made at the beginning of the season when the sap from the tree runs more clear, while Grade B is produced at the end of the season when the sap runs darker. Because no pure maple syrup is refined in any way, neither one is more nutrient rich than the other.
