The best ever baguette pan if you are baking one or more loves.

"I am planning on surprising my other half for Valentines Day. He is always disappointed with the baguette here in the US. He keeps saying that he wishes he knew why the ones in France were so wonderful. I am hoping to replicate that for him. I read that this pan is a must for authentic french baguette so I am going to give it a try.

I've been using this one for a few years, but I could not have a time last 10 months. Today, I used it using same recipe. Bottom of baguettes stuck badly, I had to tore off. Should I use oil or non-stick spray?
Nanae H on Mar 15, 2015
Best Answer: Hmmm...have you been washing it with soap after each use? I was told, if you're dealing with a nonstick surface, not to use soap. I just wash mine out with very hot water and I've never had a sticking problem. Also, you could try sprinkling a little cornmeal in the bottom. Some of it falls through the holes, but not all and that may prevent sticking and have the added benefit of some crunch. Hope this helps.
