Description

Displaying the best in both design and performance, Demeyere Atlantis sauté pans feature an InductoSeal® base that combines silver and a 2mm disc of copper hermetically sealed in an 18/10 stainless steel TriplInduc® base that’s laser-welded to the pan.

The combining of these two unique technologies ensures optimal heat distribution throughout the entire base, and provides a heat-conducting surface 33% larger than traditional pans. Heat, aroma and steam stay inside pan during cooking, as well.

Also features Demeyere’s satin-polish Silvinox® finish, stainless steel Coolcast® handles and an easy pour rim.

Exquisite cookware, excellent performance & efficient heating
Bought the 2.6 liter Sauté pan. We have the Industry 5 equivalent but this pan is deeper. As it turns out, it holds 3.41 quarts (3 quarts + 1 2/3 cups) rather than the published 2.6 quart capacity. Have used it for two Indian dishes. Clean up is a breeze. Last night was boiling potatoes and lentils in a saucepan from another manufacturer at the same time I was using this one on an adjacent burner. I was struck by how much heat the other pan sloughed off/radiated outwards and how well the Atlantis contained the heat and focused it on the food being prepared. The other pan leaked energy out while the Atlantis remained efficient. This is our 5th Atlantis piece acquired. We also have four or five of the Industry 5 pieces. All purchased at Sur la Table. We are now discarding the former cookware.

Even heat distribution, 2mm copper and 18/10 stainless steel and non-riveted handle for easy clean up are worth the extra cost.
