Our kids were introduced to crepes at a ski resort we often go to, and have been bugging us to make them at home. So we got this pan and tried it this weekend. This is a product with really good quality and well-designed tools. Its works as great as you expect every time. After I made order, I got my order in only three days (I live in HI!). Since I have it, I use it almost every two to three days for my family. Both of my kids and my husband love the soft crepe and the crispy crepe I made very-very much. I have tried several recipes of crepe to match different sauces or fruit or food, it works perfectly each time. I am going to get another one for my mother^^
I would highly recommend this pan to anyone want to experience fabulous crepes. I like sweet crepes for dessert stuffed with ice cream and topped with fresh fruit and a touch of syrup. My husband likes crepes for breakfast with peanut butter, topped with syrup. This pan makes excellent, easy crepes!
I love, LOVE Staub cookware and the quality of the products they produce. Wonderful for my new induction cooktop, and so-O much better than my LeCreuset cookware that needed to be replaced. The objection is the location of the label that SurLaTable placed on the bottom of the pan. 2 labels, one peeled off easily, the other I am still trying to get the gunk off it.
I bought this because of the high reviews and was so excited to try it out for crepes yesterday (the same day I bought it). However, the pan cracked on the first try! I couldn't believe it and was livid when that happened. I am angry because it was advertised to withstand 500 degrees. Will definitely return.
Love the quality of Staub and I have been looking for an induction-friendly Crepe pan, this works great! Love the wooden spreader, takes the set to a higher level of customer service, which I love Sur La Table's choices.
I have been using Staub cast iron cookware and they are excellent. I always get great results when cooking with Staub cookware. I also own other famous cast iron pieces but overall I would prefer Staub cast iron cookware.
Not so much for crepes, but for my husband to use to make his wonderful cheese and whatever omelets. He has been frustrated with the high sides of our fry pans so the low sides on this pan will be perfect. Also liked the sale price!

Maybe at a low temperature for a short time, but I would not recommend it. It is made for crepes, which should not require being placed in the oven. You could put just the pan part under a broiler if you wanted to quickly melt a topping or sugar
