Great reviews and my old bread knife tore the bread to shreds constantly. Needed something good that will last a long time and am replacing older knives with updated Wusthof Classics.

A good bread knife is a must have!

This is a gift. I've had one for more than 30 years. The serrated edge lasts forever. I rarely sharpen it. Also great for cutting sandwiches in half. Use a wooden cutting board and store it safely (I use a wooden knife tray).
