Paella pan features a generous cooking area and two sturdy handles for easy transport to and from the table—great for paella and other family-style dishes.

Special-Care Instructions: M’steel cookware ships with a beeswax coating that must be removed prior to use. To remove coating, scrub with hot, soapy water. Pan must be seasoned to prevent corrosion. To season, dry pan completely after cleaning, then wipe with a thin coat of flavorless cooking oil. Heat until oil liquefies, then turn heat off and wipe off excess oil. Repeat as necessary

I love the Mauviel pans that I already own. I also wanted a carbon steel pan because I am going to use it on my barbeque and need it to handle very high heat. I considered an inexpensive Spanish carbon steel pan and a Lodge pan before I decided to pay the extra for a quality product that will last.

Do the Mauviel M'Steel pans have lids that will fit for purchase?

Best Answer: Because paella pans are traditionally not covered when in use, no lids are available for these pans.
