A modern version of a traditional Eskimo knife, the innovative kulu knife makes short work of all kinds of mincing and chopping jobs. There’s simply no better way to release an herb’s fragrant oils for the most flavor.

Its round blade allows you to roll over herbs, vegetables and garlic with ease. An ergonomic handle makes chopping and mincing easy for both left- and right-handed use. The high-carbon Japanese-steel blade gives you better control in all cutting tasks, increased dexterity and leverage, making fine cuts simple and heavy chopping easier. Nonstick coating helps food release easily.

Safety sheath included. Dishwasher safe. Set includes one small kulu (4¾") and one large kulu (6").

Makin' kitchen time easier
As soon as I saw these, I thought they were pretty cool. I immediately understood the benefits of the design, and I couldn't wait to try them out. I was impressed as soon as they arrived. The construction and physical design were very good. They easily roll through quick chopping and mincing jobs. They are not ""slicing"" style blades, so people need to keep in mind that they are not a general purpose tool. If you need to quickly chop or mince herbs, garlic, ginger, or anything similar, these are awesome. They work great, forehand or back hand. They are light weight and easily controllable.
They are definitely worth the money, and a must if you do a lot of quick chopping in the kitchen

GREAT KNIFE SET!!!
I ordered this online because my local store no longer carried it. I got it 2 days ago and have used it several times with good results. It made the tedious task of chopping onions and fresh parsley a breeze!!! I was able to chop these in less time than it takes when I use a Santoku knife!! These knives are really sharp and are amazing!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND these.
I also liked the thick plastic protective blade covers that come with these. The blade is very sharp and I would not want to put these in a kitchen drawer with the blade exposed!

Fantastic Knives!
So easy on the wrists & hands . . . Perfect when you need to rock back and forth for cutting. The info brochure is helpful showing how to hold the knife in different ways. These knives are SO practical, you'll use them often. Very easy on the wrists - very sharp & the blade covers are perfect. Sizes of the knives is perfect too. Cannot say enough. They work on the same premise as the ULU knife in Alaska - these are easy to clean; priced perfectly & sturdy. You'll not be sorry with this purchase

These blades can be sharpened just as you would any other knife. They are designed to hold a edge pretty well and a manual hand held sharpener would work just fine.
