Best Can Opener
I love this can opener, I have had mine for about 4 years now and it looks and acts the same as it did the first time I used it. I couldn't give it 5 stars just for the fact that it is a little hard to tell if it is actually working, you have to detach it and use the little bird's beak on the side to pull off the lid. If it doesn't come off you have to run it all the way around again. Other than that it is great, you can replace the lid if you want to keep leftovers in the can. The best part is that it doesn't take a lot of strength to operate and I don't find my hand cramping up or hurting the way I did with my previous can opener

Works Great!
I love this opener. I don't use it for anything else than opening cans, as I don't think the features work that great. The jar lift does okay. Doesn't screw off lids well, the only ones I want it to open are bigger like apple juice, not small sodas.. It's kind of bulky, but I still love it. Very comparable to the more pricey rosle

Works fabulously!
I fell in love with my daughter's can opener and had to seek one out to have for my own. It far surpasses any other manual can opener I've ever used.

My husband complains about our can opener every time he uses it. I hope this works better.

I don't like electric can openers and after seeing this one demonstrated decided to buy one. I have since bought one for each of my girls they all love them. Recently my daughter had a visitor from Italy he used her opener and fell in love with it. We soon plan to purchase one to send to him in Italy.

I just received a Kuhn- rikon Can Opener. I need to see a vidio of how it works. How can I get to see the video demonstrating how it works?
A shopper on Apr 4, 2015
Best Answer: I can not tell you how to see the video, however, I can give you a written description of how it works. Lay it on the can so that it is perpendicular to the can (ie lying in a straight line like the square corner.) Then start turning the knob. You should feel it "catch." Keep turning until the lid is free. There is a gripper on the side that you can use to remove the lid. I hope that this helps.
