Use multiple times a week!
The Zoku has become a staple in my kitchen!! I love how easy it is to make delicious frozen treats! The base is compact enough to keep in my freezer without being in the way too much. A big selling point for me was that the pops come out smooth and creamy instead of traditional methods where the pops are icy and hard to bite into. This is probably one of my best purchases from Sur la Table!

Fun and delicious!
I'm a fan of ""thick"" juices, like grape and Pom. For variety I decided to try this device for making cold treats out of them. The texture is incredible and the rich taste of the juices is even more concentrated. It's nice to have them fast whenever I'm in the mood and be able to create perfect, custom frozen treats from what I have on hand

We love this!
We love this ice pop maker at our house. The kids have so much fun picking their flavor and then waiting for it to freeze. Just make sure you keep it in the freezer the full suggested time.

Healthiest treat
I bought this for my 7 yr. old grandchildren's birthday present. WHAT A HIT!!! We used the immersion blender to mix fruits up. Kids didn't like blueberries until we mixed it up with small amount of pineapple juice. They made flags with this mixture and another of strawberries. Cutout stars from bananas and strawberries. The possibilities are endless and this was preferred over ice cream treats.

Zoku Quick Pop Maker
Was given this as a gift! Love it! Great if you want to use regular fruit juices (also lots of great recipe finds found on zoku's blog)! I really do emphasize on reading the instruction manual thoroughly to operate the pop maker properly and to get the best use of this device.

Healthy Home Made Pops
This is a real hit with my family. I love coming up with different pop combinations and the best part is they are healthier than traditional ice cream treats! And you can make them with 5 mins notice!

Easy and Fast Pops
I simply love this. I can make healthy snacks or fudgesicles fast!

I use a dark chocolate ice cream recipe and it's divine!

Why did you choose this?
Sur La Table Store
Being a sceptic decided to try this because it didn't require any fore planning, other than keeping the unit in the freezer. We are using it a lot

I have used this several times to make delicious pops at home. I can mix favorite flavors and fruit. Wonderful!

My other popsicle maker is a cheap plastic one purchased awhile ago. The kids enjoy coming up with their own creations (and often make them without me knowing) but my cheap mold often falls over in my freezer. Thought this would be really fun with the kids this summer since it's fast and easy (and allows our creative side to come through)!

Honestly, I purchased this item several years ago. I'd forgotten about it in a far-away cabinet for a year or two, and when I went to use it for the first time, the coolant had leaked out of the casing. It was unusable. I received a gift card. So, this is my replacement. It has such good reviews from others, I am confident the unit I had issues with was a fluke.
I really like the idea of convenience and want to be prepared for this summer.

Can you use a regular wooden popsicle stick with this?

Suppose that I want to make a big batch of pops for a party (yes, I realize that I'd have to make them 9 at a time before refreezing, but I can plan ahead and make them over a couple days). Can I just use wooden sticks from the craft store? Or do I have to use the Zoku sticks

The Zoku Sticks are designed to fit the Zoku maker so they stand upright during the freezing process. Wooden popscicle sticks will not stand up straight in the machine.

How many does it make at one time?

How long does it take to recover and make a second batch?

A specially designed Super Tool helps to quickly release frozen treats from molds. Unit makes up to nine pops before refreezing the unit again. Kit includes one Quick Pop Maker, six sticks, six drip guards and one Super Tool.

It will make three pops at a time and you can do three sets of three pops before refreezing the unit. Multiple batches of Quick Pops™ are possible if done in quick succession. Too much time between batches will cause The Quick Pop™ Maker to defrost. If you experience problems getting multiple batches to freeze all the way It is possible that the temperature of your freezer was not cold enough, or The Quick Pop™ Maker was not completely frozen. Lower the temperature of your freezer to 0°F or less, make sure the Zoku has plenty of breathing room and let the unit freeze for at least 24 hours.

What do you add with the fresh fruit?

Im just confused on how to make these. You say its fresh fruit but what else is in it? What do you add with the fresh fruit?
A shopper on May 25, 2011
Best Answer: You can use pureed fruit with a little bit of water, or fruit juices. There really are not many limitations to what you can create and what you can use to create it with. I have included a sample recipe for Strawberry Lime Pops that is a prime example of what can be used. I love this item and so do my grandkids. They can really get creative with their concoctions and they only have to wait about 7 minutes to eat them. Great investment!INGREDIENTS10 ounces fresh strawberries; stems removed, rinsed and drained3 tablespoons sugar (*more if necessary)1 teaspoon lime zest_ cup water3 ounces limeade; divided useASSEMBLE THE POPSIn a blender, puree strawberries, sugar, lime zest, and water, until smooth, set aside.Remove Zoku Quick Pop Maker from the freezer. Insert sticks.Pour 1 ounce strawberry puree into each Zoku Quick Pop cavity. Allow this layer to freeze completely.Next pour _ ounce limeade into each cavity. Allow this layer to freeze completely. Finally pour another layer of the strawberry puree up to the fill line in each cavity. Allow this layer to freeze completely.Remove the pops with the Super Tool. Repeat with remaining pops.* Adjust the amount of sugar based upon the sweetness of your berries. Strawberries from local farms tend to have a much sweeter and true berry flavor than those found in the supermarkets
