Bought this as a gift for my husband. He uses it multiple times a day to froth milk for his espresso and/or coffee. It's incredibly convenient and easy to use. Milk froths and doubles in volume in seconds.
I bought this lil frother to use to froth my milk when i wanted to make a cup of coffee, and i use it for so many other things as well. It's always handy and ready to whip an egg faster than a wisk , blend salad dressings, make protein drinks and lots of other things. It's easy to clean and not a hassle to get out and use.Just wish it was a little stronger cause it has a little trouble making puddings. Great to have on hand for so many uses
I wanted to make cappuccino/latte while on vacation in San Diego. I stopped by SLT but didn't want anything expensive. This thing did the job, and did it well. Almost as well as my home frother, and I didn't have to clean much since I whipped it in the same mug. Not sure if durable yet, but highly recommend at this point
Has anyone tried it on soy, coconut or almond milk?

Best Answer:Yes, I use mine with my soy milk. It froths really well. I start every day with soy milk latte. I maket it by heating soy milk in microwave and the I use the frothed makes it foamy and then I pour in my expresso. It comes out very nice.. I've also used it to froth egg whites.
Would this product be good for whisking matcha tea? I manually whisk the matcha powder, but always seem to have some that I cannot get mixed in. If this would not be good, is there another item you would recommend instead?
Best Answer:Hi Jane. I use this product for mixing my matcha tea powder all the time now. This little gadget works great to blend every fine powder into a hot water to make a wonderful cup of matcha tea. I am originally from Japan and delighted to read your question to learn you enjoy matcha!! "Chasen" , a traditional bamboo whisk is another way to blend matcha powder. It's nice too. Hope this helps!
I wish I could help you, however, I ordered the frother but never received it. Appartently it was out of stock. I kept checking the status of my order online and it always said 'processing'. One day I received an email stating it was back ordered and would ship as soon as it was available. Then Sur la Table emailed me saying they were canceling my order. So i bought a different brand off of Amazon.
It would probably be good for that. I know when I have cold tea and want the sugar to mix and not just sit on the bottom of the glass I have used the frother and it gave me some "tea froth", so it should produce some sort of froth. Go for it. I also use it to get a good mix when I make salad dressings.
I drink matcha tea as well. I think it would be a great idea, although I have not tried it yet. You would just need to rinse it thoroughly and immediately so as to not have the powder stick to the whisk part. Good luck!!
