Had High Hopes...
I am on my second of these cutting boards, as I had to return the first one because it warped, had lots of cuts in the surface from use, and ended up getting moldy. My second one seems to be headed in the same direction - it no longer lies flat on my counter, so it is hard to keep it steady when chopping. It's also got lots of cuts in the surface (even though the store employees mentioned that they had never seen such a thing with this cutting board), and I'm about to go buy another type to replace it.

The design looks nice (until you start using it), and I love the fact that you can throw this in the dishwasher (unlike bamboo), but it's not worth buying a new one every two months or so..

Great cutting board for the price
I took a knife skills class at Sur la Table in Northern VA, and the chef recommended this board to the class. (It's also the board they use in all of their cooking classes...which means they get used hundreds of times per month, and put through their commercial dishwasher every day.)

I've had my cutting board for about six months. I use it daily, sometimes multiple times, and it is in fantastic shape.

I do put it through the dishwasher daily, and I also hand scrub it between uses. The board only has a few knife marks, hasn't warped at all, and looks practically knew.

I do use both sides of the board, and alternate with each use. I'm not sure if that's made a difference in the wear (or lack of).

This board has exceeded my expectations, and I like that it's more gentle on my knife than a plastic cutting board would be

My new favorite kitchen companion!
I have never been so in love with the function of a cutting board! The rubber grips on the sides hold the board still which takes the danger out of cutting. I used to fight my old cutting board that would slide around while I was trying to slice and dice. Now I feel safe and can chop at a faster pace. It is also a great surface to cut on. In another review, it was mentioned that you could see the cut marks from the knife on the cutting board. This is true, but I don't see how a "cutting board" could not have this! It does not affect the function or feel of the board. It also does have an interesting smell when you first buy it, but most new things do. After you wash it and use it, the "new smell" goes away. I am a huge advocate for this cutting board and would highly recommend it. To be honest, I would not choose any other kind of cutting board. It is lightweight yet durable and gets the job done.

Love nonslip edges
We now have all three sizes and love the look of these. The non slip edges makes them so easy to work with.
The one we had the longest is showing knife marks on the surface of it now though.
Because of the rubber edges I do not put in the dishwasher. I simply wash in sink with hot soap and water and occasionally wipe with a paper towel with some bleach on it. Not had any problems

Fabulous
We own two of these and use them constantly. They really do feel gentle on our quality knives. They do not skid around the counter top thanks to the rubber corners (which are removable). The boards are dishwasher safe and are made from sustainable materials. I love these and recommended them to several family members who also purchased them.

Best cutting boards ever!
I am replacing all of our junk plastic cutting boards with these. We are professional chefs and could not be more pleased with them. Every time my husband uses this board he exclaims how wonderful it is. Goodbye white plastic garbage. Thanks Sur La Tab for making our jobs so much easier.

Best cutting boards I've used!
My wife and I first used these boards in a cooking class at Sur la Table. I do most of the cooking and was instantly hooked on them. Considering the abuse these boards take, I was impressed by how well they hold up. I bought two.

We have used them daily for a couple of months and absolutely love these boards. They are elevated, so they provide a fatigue reducing bounce back. The corners keep the board from moving at all, eliminating any unexpected sliding. They are easy on the knife edges and reduce the amount of sharpening as compared to other boards. They also clean up very nicely, do not stain and do not retain odors. Although they're technically dishwasher safe, I always wash my boards by hand and let them drip dry.

Overall, this is a great product, high quality, quite durable, and worth its weight in $$

Don't spend your $$ on this board
I had high hope too as it is a very expensive board, however, after my first week of use, it already has many knife mark, I only cook dinner, and the knife mark is very obvious. I brought it back to the store, showing to the staff, and they said it is normal (NOT as what they told me when I purchased it, I was told this board won't get knife mark so easily and it is very durable.). They said they can replace a new one to me but it would be the same. So I brought my board back, after two months, I cannot believe that the surface starts to peel off..... I should just use the same $$ to buy a cheap $5 cutting board every two month.

We have one and it offers a nice, natural feeling cutting surface but is also dishwasher safe. Being non-porous, I am comfortable handling raw meat, poultry or seafood on it since I can just throw it in the dishwasher for a thorough cleaning.

How do you get rid of the mark that the sticker makes when you remove it? I have a large discolored rectangle where the sticker was after removal of on one side of the cutting board.

BEST ANSWER: I have purchased 3 of the Epicurean cutting boards (love them!) but have not had a problem with the sticker leaving a mark. I have used a product in the past called Goo Gone for removing the "sticky" residue left behind - not sure if that will help with the discoloration issue but it may be worth a try.
I have 3 of these boards that were purchased before they were made with the non slip grips. Are the grips available to purchase separately?
