A must have pot!
This casserole has no faults. It is our second one because we seemed to gravitate to it but it was already in use. All-Clad is top notch!

Why did you choose this?
Sur La Table Store
I have some All Clad and like it much better than all the others I have had... and I like stock pots (2 small handles rather than one big handle because they dont get knocked off when stored in my corner cabinet with the revolving shelf, and because the All Clad lids are flat and not bulky.

I want to replace all my non stick kitchen ware to stainless steel. after did some research on line and read all the good reviews of all clad, I made the decision, although i would appreciate if they can put dimension on the product discription, then I don't have to look around the answer from questions ;)

The picture shows a dark interior. Is it non-stick?
A shopper on May 16, 2015
Best Answer: No, it is all stainless steel. The image must have a shadow from the lid, or maybe the lighting is not quite right. I am very pleased with these pans- versatile and easy to handle.

Am looking for a 4 qt size. Any opinions out there on which is most useful for all around cooking of savory and sweet sauces, gravies, vegetables, soups - the 4 qt casserole or the 4 qt saucepan? I already have other brands (wish they were All Clad!) in smaller sizes and Le Creuset dutch ovens in 3 qt to 5 qt and braisers. Thanks.
Janet G on Jun 22, 2015
Best Answer: I have both pans and are equally the same for use. I do like the casserole because it has 2 handles & just sometimes easier to work with. And if you are gonna use & then transfer to oven the casserole takes up less space in oven. I use the casserole for deep frying, soups, browning a roast then transferring to oven to bake. Sometimes if you need to pour things out of the pan the sauce pan is easier (long handle). For my money, if I had one choice I would purchase the 4 qt. casserole pan.
