Your next baking project will be a breeze with this multipurpose tool. It scrapes, scoops, and spreads those hard-to-handle icing projects and makes mixing batter a breeze. An oversized handle keeps hands clean during use, and flexible silicone design scrapes hard-to-reach places easily. 10½" x 1½". Dishwasher safe.
I use it mostly as a spreader. It's perfect for putting mustard or mayo on a sandwich, buttering warm croissants, or adding the filling to homemade sandwich cookies. One end is flat, and the other end has a curved surface. Great price, too! I suspect you'll use this a lot, as I do
I grabbed this spatula on a whim the last time I walked through my nearest SLT store. Brilliant! This is one of the best kitchen gadgets in my repertoire. Love it -- it will become my go-to gift for friends.
I really like using this scraper. It is made very well and has some weight to it so it does not feel flimsy or bend while using. The handle is comfortable to hold. I also like that there are 2 different scrapers. The grey end of the scraper is round and flat on both sides. The tip of the end has a little give to it while the rest of it is solid and firm.
The colored end of the scraper is indented slightly like a spoon and has a flexible tip. This end of the scraper can be used as a scoop.
The 11" length of the scraper makes it easy to reach the bottom of tall jars. And, the narrow ends of the scraper (1 1/2" at the widest point) easily accommodates narrow spaces. Both ends can be used for spreading or scooping condiments, frosting small cakes or cookies, mixing ingredients, etc.
It's dishwasher safe and a very useful gadget! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
I have been searching for these scrapers for months. I have 2 chef friends who have them. SurLaTable is the only place I was able to find them!! Was only disappointed I could not get the other colors pictured! I wanted the teal & the lavender ones. Thanks!
New Year's Day event at my niece's home....she used this utensil to cut her cornbread, so she didn't ruin the finish on her pan. Opened her drawer and she had 4 of them in different sizes, and wouldn't part with them!!
