Ergonomically correct
Bought this to replace the All-Clad ladle I thought would be perfect but instead turned out to be painful and awkward to use. The Rosle gets it right: solid flat handle that's angled from the bowl to make dipping and pouring easier, and a drip-resistant bowl design. Doesn't seem like this should cost $10 more than the All-Clad, so I dinged it a couple of Value stars. Also, the hooked end of the handle limits storage options -- can't hang from utensil hooks or slide easily in and out of utensil jars. The bottom line, though, is that this one works and the other one hurts. I'm a heavy ladle user, so ... A cook's gotta do what a cook's gotta do

A daughter-in-law requested a ladle, and from my years doing publicity for the International Home & Housewares Show, I know Rosle is a top brand name! Iâ??m not keen on it being made in China, however, a source I try to avoid.
Patricia T on Nov 30, 2014
Needed a little larger ladle than I have for transferring soup from pot to blender and finished soup to bowl.. Has a pouring spout and dripless rim. Rosle products are well made.

What is the ideal size to buy, if you only have one?
A shopper on Nov 14, 2015
BEST ANSWER: i only have one also, i do not like a huge one because they over pour. 2.4 oz is the one i have and i love it and the size. this is very well made and Rosle stands behind all their products. This is not made in the USA, that was the only thing that I really had to decide on, do I want to buy it if it is made in China., it is not over heavy and you can maintain good control with the pouring because it is is smaller.
