This product was purchased due to a recommendation by Julie B. at SLT, Dos Lagos, in Corona, CA. I assumed that the ""smoked"" part of the olive oil came from liquid smoke or similar additive. I was wrong. This olive oil was actually smoked in a smoker, yielding a strong, smoky bouquet and somewhat smoky olive oil flavor, depending upon the application. I used this in a variety of ways; but, for the purpose of this review shall cover two: 1.) to create pizza dough and then top the end-product. The smoke flavor was baked out of it; and, 2.) drizzled atop a roasted potato, garlic and onion blended soup...the smoked olive oil was amazing. A consistent pattern for this olive oil was that to maintain the strong bouquet and maximum smokiness, drizzle atop your food just before consumption. It was great to experience, and I would recommend that others try it for the novelty of it as well. Its also a definite conversation piece/ingredient
