Mismatched top and bottom
Upon opening my order, it was obvious why the Calzone press was marked down. It is Poorly made, edges do not meet properly, not assembled correctly. Bah, humbug

Fun for Foodies
This press is actually 11 inches in diameter when open, and the filling area is 9 inches in diameter when open. I suspect you can probably use up to a cup of filling, maybe more, in this. That will be determined by the weight and moistness of the filling, and the type of dough used. The hinge is made to accommodate a fairly thick calzone.

I have not used this large size yet, but have used smaller ones for dumplings and hand pies, and they work very well. When you are ready to fold it over, you may need to support the dough at the fold until the fold is made and edges are sealed. The dough Must Not Break!

I expect two of the three I purchased to be given as gifts

A modified dental tool?
It looks a lot like a dental mold, the sort they use for bleaching trays and crowns and etc. If I were the design team behind this product I would just add some missing, chipped, discolored teeF, for cheeky value, because you KNOW everyone is thinking the same thing. That said, I think the old fashioned way would be more productive than using this, unless you are missing some body parts or brain cells
