Another great Rosle idea!
I love my Rosle tools, and have precious little drawer space, so this rail was a great way to solve that problem and allow me to look at all my beautiful tools at the same time. I got the medium size, and my only regret was not getting the large :-

Can this attach to stainless steel tile?
A shopper on Jul 27, 2015
Best Answer: Don't know. It may depend on what the wall behind the stainless steel tile is made of. You would have to use a wall anchor for each screw, i think. Mine is mounted on ceramic tile with the holes drilled between the tile pieces. Maybe you could check with whever installed the tile. Good luck.

Can I hang cast iron pans from Kitchen Rail?
A shopper on Jan 11, 2013
Best Answer: Don't think it's designed for that much weight, sorry. Also, you probably want something that will hold your cast iron further away from the wall so you don't risk a ding or scuff (not an issue with the Rosle tools that the rail is designed to hold). You might want to take a look at the Enclume racks that Sur la Table offers. Try typing Enclume into the search box, or enter SKU 684936

what's the distance between wall and rail after installation?

What's the distance between the wall and the rail after it is installed in a tile wall?
marielena on May 16, 2014
Best Answer: Regardless of the type of wall, the Rosle mounts hold the rail about 1"" away from the wall

How far apart can attachments to wall be?

I would like to attach a rail on backsplash for about 5 feet. In the center of the space is a 32"" soapstone backsplash for the range below it. I'd rather not drill into the soapstone when mounting the rail. How far apart do the attachments to the wall need to be mounted? (would like to hang spice shelves over range, hang light cooks tools to either side
A shopper on Mar 25, 2014
Best Answer: I have the 24"" rail. The attachment points are at either end, so roughly 0-1"" & 23-24"". There is an attachment point in the middle, but I'm not using it, and the rail seems pretty secure even with 12 Rosle tools hanging from it.So, it sounds like you'll have to find another location to mount the rail as even the longest rail isn't longer than your backsplash is wide. Or, you could use the Rosle rail, and drill into the backsplash. Or you could try to custom-make something. Good luck

Please see the full Question below?

If the rail is attached to the tile wall with molly screws or whatever is best for that surface, WITHOUT the ""cabinet extension,"" how far is it from wall to rail?(It seems that nothing comes with anything from Rosle, that everything down to the installation screws is an extra charge.
marielena on May 19, 2014
Best Answer: Because this is a flat rail that is completely flush with the wall, the distance between the wall and the rail after instillation is going to depend on the length of the hardware you're using
