I have the Global chef knives and the sharpener. They are great to use and stay sharp. I love the all-in-one design. I have a magnetic wall strip and they are easy to grab. Best knives I've ever owned.

What's the difference between this knife and Global's 3 1/2" paring knife (besides the 1/2")?
Benefits of either?
Cora M on Dec 4, 2014
Best Answer: They are pretty different. I have both. The 3 1/2 (GS-38) is lighter and has a slightly larger, hollow handle. Its comfortable and suitable for most paring tasks. The 3" is actually a GSF series which means its part of Global's professional line. The F stands for drop forged. Its very slim and very sharp. Almost feels like a scalpel. Its great for fine pairing work.
