Sturdier than it looks
I bought this for use in my sugar bowl. I was worried because it feels extremely fragile, yet with everyday use for over a year now (and even a few dishwashings) it's still going strong. The little circle at the end gives it a slightly more substantial grip than other dainty spoons, for those with larger hands.

Why did you choose this?
Sur La Table Store
it's adorable and just what we wanted!

Two reasons. I have a large collection of antique salt dishes and very few spoons. The ones I have are silver, and salt and silver don't mix.

The new gourmet salts are too coarse to go thru my salt shakers, so the antique collection is terrific, but I need spoons both for my daily use and for entertaining - yours are perfect, I hope.

I use these all the time for condiments, sauces, dips. A few of them disappeared after my last dinner party. I just can't entertain without them!

I have a salt pig and needed a small spoon to leave in it.
