Nice Chrome Peeler
This peeler is a quality-built kitchen tool, with sharp blades for quickly and easily accomplishing peeling tasks

My least favorite peeler/not worth the money
I am very disappointed in the peeler. It is just not usable. It seems dull and doesn't allow one to peel quickly or with a wide enough swath. I am much happier with my old dull cheap peeler an especially happy with its $8 replacement--I can peel at last 4 times faster with the cheap versions.

Classic.
This peeler is amazing. Yes, it does take a bit of technique as there aren't any swiveling parts, but it is incredibly sharp, and will probably last decades. Next time you're in a store, find the Rosle stuff and pick one up, it's weighty but nimble. I'm glad I bought it.

Well Made, Doesn't Work that well
The Rosle Peeler seems well made, but was not exactly what I was hoping for. I bought it because it didn't have a plastic handle (I'm tired of plastic handles breaking on me), so that is good. However, the knife makes a "fingernails on a chalkboard" sound when I peel and the peeler creates an uneven surface on the vegetable. I think if I learned to hold the peeler just right it would probably work better. I anticipate that it may get better over time too, but so far it's not that great.

How do you sharpen this?

I'd want to be able to sharpen a $23 peeler, rather than have a dull one in six months
A shopper on Feb 7, 2014
BEST ANSWER: This peeler is not made to be sharpened.
