Whether your bread is delicately tender or wonderfully crusty, the Shun Classic bread knife, with its wide, low-frequency serrations, is up to the task. Gently saw back and forth to cut perfect slices with no unsightly rips or tears.

Shun Classic’s tasteful and contemporary design features a beautiful Damascus-clad blade and D-shaped ebony pakkawood handle. Behind the knife’s beauty is function: a razor-sharp blade offering precision performance.

Shun Classic knives feature a core of proprietary VG-MAX super steel clad on both sides with 34 layers of Damascus stainless steel. The woodgrain pattern of the steel allows the blade to slide easily through food. The result is a knife that’s sharp, durable and corrosion resistant, as well as beautiful to behold.

NSF-certified knife meets the high-level safety standards for professional kitchens.

GREAT KNIFE
THIS IS MY FIRST SHUN KNIFE. THE BALANCE IS AMAZING, THE BLADE IS GREAT. I HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH A GOOD BREAD KNIFE. I HAVE A SMALL HAND SO IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO WORK WITH A BIG KNIFE, NOT THIS ONE. THE BALANCE IS SO GOOD IT IS VERY EASY FOR ME TO MANEUVER. IT IS A BIT EXPENSIVE FOR ME, BUT I AM GLAD I BOUGHT IT. WISH I COULD AFFORD TO HAVE A COUPLE OF OTHER KNIVES
