    Not as good as hoped
I bought this for my boat (stainless, no glass) and for that I have chosen to keep it. That being said, from the description I thought it would retain heat really well. What a joke! It is definitely quite warm to the touch so it is losing heat rapidly. I have to put the liquid in my Yeti to keep it warm for more than a brief period. Needless to say, it is a big disappointment! If you want a stainless French press, buy a cheaper model and save yourself some money.

Honestly, I have broken four glass carafes in the last few years. I travel and take my french press(es), but I'm very gentle with them. They tend to break with the hot water I pour in. I'm tired of breaking them, so I'm going with a stainless steel. We'll see.

Looking forward to trying this French Press to enjoy "sludgeless " coffee plus the benefit of an insulated carafe to keep the second cup warm until I am ready to serve it.

We bought the travel sized mug and my husband said it was the best coffee he's tasted. I guess their is a difference between this kind of press and others because of the paper filter. The 20% off made it comparable to a competitor. I'm excited to give it to him as a gift for Christmas.

i read all the reviews, they sounded so excellent decided to buy french press for company that will arrive on Nov. 8 who are coffee drinkers (I am a tea sipper) so hope it arrives in plenty of time.

The Espro French Press brewers have received high marks from coffee aficionados.
I have an older stainless steel insulated French Press which I am replacing with the Espro The double filtration system makes for a clearer pour while retaining the full flavor from the coffee oils, which is primary advantage of French Press over other brewing systems

Does this Espro P7 stainless steel french press use paper filters?
    A shopper on Nov 7, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes it comes with filters. They are optional , and recommended If you like the taste of a pour over. However , I don't think they are needed: the double filter that the Espro comes with is plenty enough and you get the richness of a french Press without as much grit. I Love this press !
