Funny name, awesome product!
I would have never considered purchasing this product in a million years had I not seen it used in a cooking class at SLT. We used it to hold a bowl steady while making a vinaigrette AND used it to create a double boiler! So, right there I had to stop calling it a unitasker. It held the bowl much better than a towel ring on the countertop, and made a much better double-boiler than just putting a bowl on top of a pot of boiling water. Glad I got to see this item demonstrated in a cooking class, or I would just keep walking on by!

This Staybowlizer bowl stand makes it possible for my son and I to stir cakes, cookies, etc. as I am elderly and my son lost an arm when he was young. A VERY GOOD PRODUCT, I ordered more as gifts for my sister and others. Thanks!

Multitasker
I recently got into baking. A big challenge for me was mixing thick dough in a bowl on granite countertops. The staybowlizer totally solves the problem. Also useful for keeping hot bowls off your countertops. In a pinch, it also can be used with a double boiler or a steamer. Love it!

Great tool!
I love using my Staybowlizer when cooking. It really does keep the bowl in place so you can confidently keep whisking your batter and not worry that it's going to go from once side to another.

Staybowlizer Bowl Stand
The product does exactly what it was intended to do, stabilize a bowl for easy hand mixing. We absolutely love this product. Certainly comes in handy when creating salad dressings when the olive oil has to be introduced bit by bit.

A Kitchen Necessity
I've had my Stabilizer for 3 or more years and quite frankly I don't know what I did without it. I have two very large and extremely large SS bowls I use for mixing large batches of cookies, turkey dressing, etc. My arms would get sooo tired battling those bowls. Once I used the Stabilizer with these bowls, I knew it a was valuable kitchen tool. It stabilizes these very large bowls - no slipping or sliding - and the Stabilizer will keep the bowl steady whether the bowl is flat on the Stabilizer or at an angle. I've given these as gifts to my relatives, who also love them. I honestly don't know how anyone can do without one of these in the kitchen especially at the price!

This looks exactly what I need to save my wrists when making brownies and some cake/cookie batters in the huge SS bowls I use. I also make several different Ganache's and using them on the stove is an excellent idea! I really look forward to working with them as soon as I get them. thanks again!

Very helpful to me. such as not chasing a mixing bowl across the counter or table when stirring stiff ingredients, or slippery ones, etc. Helpful when needing a double pot when you don't have one handy. This enable you to use your pot and bowl if necessary.

I saw the add and hope this will be of a great help for people that suffer of painful diseases like arthritis.

Got this for my fiercely independent Mom who is nearing 75 & is having some difficulty grasping things lately. Her fingers aren't as nimble & her grip strength isn't what it used to be. She is often cooking alone, so she needs all the support she can get. I hope she remembers to use it, though!
Beth H on Feb 10, 2017
I am hoping that this will hold my bowl in place when I use my small electric hand mixer.

I love the staybowlizer. It REALLY holds the bowl still when using a hand mixer. I also like using it when bringing a large bowl of salad or other dish for a buffet table at an event. The bowl doesn't move when people scoop out their serving. I've given one as a gift and my friend loves this item!

I have granite countertops. The bowl stand looks like just the item to prevent slippage. I bake biscotti year round. The dough is thick, so this should help stabilize the bowl while whisking.
Philly Bob on Jan 14, 2017
I wanted something that would make cooking and mixing easier. I am 5'3". Being able to work on my counter top while peering over and into a large bowl can be tiring. With an item like this I can slightly tilt the bowl while still being able to add ingredients with the other hand. I also need to use a double boiler method to melt ingredients. I am often afraid that I will crack my bowl when heating it over a pot of water. I believe this will make that process safer.
Tamara W on Jan 13, 2017
I took one of the Sur la Table cooking classes and fell in love with this item. It greatly reduces the effort needed to whip up egg whites - for example - since the bowl doesn't try to walk off the table. Consequently, I found out later that it is good for so much more - a must for any kitchen where people actually cook!
Suzanne C on Jan 12, 2017

This is an amazing tool that helps when that "3rd" hand is needed in the kitchen. It really holds your bowls/pans securely and can also be used to facilitate a double-boiler
EastsideRide on Jan 11, 2017
Think these will be great for an elderly mom, and a handicapped friend. Free up a hand to provide them more flexibility.
andrea e on Jan 9, 2017
A friend recommended it so I bought one for myself and each of my daughters.
Pam C on Jan 8, 2017

Denise K on Jan 5, 2017
We use this in the cooking classes all the time. Perfect when you don't have an extra person in the kitchen to help hold the bowl while you are whisking tasty treats.

I'm hoping to use it with my stand-mixer bowl when I take it off the mixer. Looks like it will be good for many other uses.
Marsha H on Dec 29, 2016
The reviews made it sound better than the towel/rubber pot holder solution I use.
Margaret L on Dec 26, 2016
I cook a lot and this would substitute for a kitchen towel under the bowl. Also, it elevates the bowl a bit and at 69 years, it's kind of ergonomic.
Kay R. W on Dec 26, 2016

Sometimes glass bowls slide when you are mixing heavy dough or kneading bread. This will keep the bowl in place.
