Do you know what type of plastic the clear part is made of? Is it BPA or phthalate-free?
Courtney C on Aug 9, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Yes, this chopper is BPA & phthalate-free.
On the Description it says Lifetime Warranty, but on Features it says 5 Years. Can you please say how long the warranty actually is?
Courtney C on Aug 9, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Rösle offers a lifetime warranty on all product.
is there a divider to seperate the blade

I was wondering what material it was made of? The last chopper I owned had a piece I could take out but it was plastic and cracked. It would be inside underneath. Thank you.
A shopper on Jan 8, 2011
BEST ANSWER: This item is stainless steel and plastic. There is a plastic piece about half way up inside that the blade retracts into. The blade itself is stainless steel and it can be taken apart for cleaning.
