I do a lot of stir frying and wok cooking. This spatula, and it's curved shape, has been around for some time (think ""Chen""), and the curved edge fits the sides of a flat bottom wok very well. Most spatulas of this type are much smaller/shorter and I never really cared for them...
But this one is much larger/longer, and I really enjoying using it. I stir over very high heat in a well seasoned wok, so nothing ever sticks, so I don't need a rugged metal wok spatula to pry under sticking proteins or starches, and this spatula is perfect to stir and toss and is very gentle on my wok's patina. I recommend it for those that need a more gentle wok utensil (if you are still establishing your wok's patina, and meats still sometimes stick, Sur's metal wok spatula might be a better choice).
The burnished quality is very nice for $6, and I love how bamboo practically does not burn or darken on the spatulas edges, even with high heat cooking (unlike wood!) I really appreciate bamboo utensils more and more...

This is actually for the largest of the spoons pictured only. They sell individually for 3.50 each. Thank you very much for bringing this to our attention. I have submitted it for correction.
