Description

You can taste the tradition and the passion that goes into each drop of our favorite olive oil. Cold-pressed and crafted from the finest Italian and Spanish olives, this oil brings so many foods to fantastic new heights! Drizzle over pasta, soup, grilled vegetables, steak, fish, poultry, add to salad dressing, or just enjoy as a dip for good bread.

The bright green and yellow hues reveal a fruity and herbaceous aroma. The light but savory olive flavor has a hint of almond and a touch of red pepper. This is easily the most versatile olive oil we've ever tested. It’s even an excellent oil for everyday cooking. 25.4 oz. Made in Italy.

"Great value, great taste!"
I love this olive oil! I buy at least 2 bottles a month. It has a slight, mild taste of pepper- no bitter or odd after taste like I've experienced with some oils. I use it for all of my cooking needs and it's also great just with bread for dipping

Great olive oil!
I love the light taste of this olive oil for using in baked goods and salad dressings. It is a great replacement for those unhealthy vegetable oils.

Italian and Greek?!
That's right a combo evoo - like Rachel Ray would say! I use this as my ""every day"" olive oil. From sauteing to baking this nice mellow oil doesn't interfere with flavor. At $9.95 for this sweet, nutty import wouldn't you like to try it

Fantastic Price & Flavor
I use this olive oil every day. Not only is it flavorful and genuinely good quality, it is crazy cheap! You can't beat that price

A great staple in my pantry.
I have used this extra virgin olive oil for 5 or 6 years now. I maintain it as a stock item in my pantry and buy it in bulk. When I'm down to my last 2 bottles, I reorder and have it delivered to my door or pick it up at the closest Sur La Table store, if that's convenient.

I cook with this all the time and use it as a base for my home made salad dressings.
I've tried a number of olive oils, ranging in price from 5 or 6 dollars up to 50 dollars. This oil has a great flavor that does not overpower the food you're preparing, yet is flavorful enough to be used in a salad dressing or as a dipping oil for bread. Adding a good balsamic vinegar or infusing your own herbs in the oil only enhances its flavor.

Highly recommend

Where did the 33oz (1L) go? The price hasn't changed but now we are getting 25% less? What happened?
ximena a on Feb 13, 2015
Best Answer: I am wondering the same thing. Last fall when I ordered I received the 33oz bottle, my recent order last month showed the 33 oz when I ordered it but when it arrived it was the smaller bottle :( Disappointed as this is a significant size difference.

Is this olive oil "first cold pressed"?
Cyndi V on Oct 26, 2014
Best Answer: I would look that up on the Internet. I love this olive oil. It's my go to for all my cooking. I use a different one for uncooked needs. But this one replaces any olive oil I used to buy at the grocery store. I'm sorry I couldn't answer your question.

What is the smoke point?
A shopper on Nov 24, 2014
Best Answer: The smoke point of extra virgin olive oil is a bit over 400F but at bit lower temperature seems to be less harmful to the flavor.

How hot the temperature should be for cooking with this olive oil?

Can I use this oil for stir frying or frying meat and vegetables? thanks!
A shopper on Feb 24, 2014
Best Answer: Olive oil should not be heated above 375 degrees. I would not suggest using it to stir fry, fry or roast above 400 degrees
