Description

E. Guittard white chocolate wafers are prized by professional pastry chefs for their luxurious chocolate flavor, versatility and consistent high quality. They’re extremely convenient to work with–measuring out easily in ounces or cups, and the small, quarter-sized disks melt quickly.

French-style white chocolate has a sweet, cream flavor with nutty undertones and a hint of citrus and vanilla. Great for cooking or standing alone as an extraordinarily smooth white chocolate with rich cocoa butter taste. Made in USA. 16 oz. Certified non-GMO.

The best
The very best white chocolate on the market..
Cocoa butter is right up there in the list of ingredients (31%) which gives it the rich flavor that it has. There is absolutely NO WAXY TASTE to this white chocolate. This hint for melting will.. save you some chocolate : melt in a small metal bowl which is a little larger than a small pot of simmering water...as soon as it starts to melt and stick to the sides of the bowl, gently whisk and stir constantly til fully melted and no lumps remain.if you're using it to decorate add 1 to 2 tsp.Crisco shortening(depending on how much chocolate you're melting) and continue to whisk til incorporated. Hmmmmm...I also eat the discs right out of the box.
Amazon has everything!!

Why did you choose this?
Sur La Table Store
I chose this white chocolate because of a recommendation by Cooks Illustrated. It's ok for baking and coating, but not for Chocolate Truffles. Nothing beats Callebeaut.

This is the highest quality of white chocolate that I've found. It makes a huge difference in the taste of your recipes.
