Why Alaskan Bowl?

Okay. I'm an Alaskan Resident in the Kenai Peninsula. WHY is a French-designed bowl called an Alaskan Bowl? Is it really that tough? Can it hold meals like Moose Road-Kill Stroganoff? Or roast butt of bear?This isn't a joke. I really would like to know

Best Answer: This is some of the most durable dinnerware available on the market today. Revol fires it's porcelain at temperatures that a not only beautiful non-porous surface, but an extremely resilient and functional pice of dinnerware that is resistant to stains, chips and scratches. It is safe for the oven, microwave, dishwasher and the freezer and is also resistant to thermal shock. I am sure it will stand up well to a meal such as Moose Road-Kill Stroganoff or Roast Butt of Bear

What is the capacity (oz) of these bowls?

Best Answer: The 8 1/2"" bowl has a 10 1/2 oz capacity.The 11 3/4"" bowl has a 19 oz capacity
