Reduce cooking time up to 70 percent, making it easy and energy efficient to prepare healthy meals. By heating rapidly in an airless environment with little water, foods are able to retain more nutrients while natural flavors are intensified. Meats, fish and chicken cook to tender perfection in minutes not hours, as do vegetables, soups, casseroles—even cheesecake!

Designed in Spain, Fagor’s sleek Duo pressure cooker is constructed of durable 18/10 stainless steel with an aluminum-encapsulated base for even heat distribution, and features two pressure settings, low (8psi) and high (15psi). An automatic pressure-release position and a simple-to-use dial make it easy to regulate and release pressure. A helpful visual indicator lets you know when all pressure has been released from the pot. An exclusive triple-valve safety system with a safety lock on the handle prevents opening before all the pressure has been released. Two independent overpressure release valves ensure that excess pressure does not build up. Ergonomically designed handles make it easy to open and close the lid.

Set includes 4- and 8-qt. pots with aluminum-clad bottoms, Duo pressure cooker lid, glass lid that fits both pots, steamer basket, trivet (not shown) and recipes. Ten-year warranty. Made in China.

Great Product. Great Buy.
I got this Fagor set a few months ago and have used it a bunch of times. I have to say, its probably the best money I ever spent on cookware. It comes with a big (8 quart) pot and a small (4 quart) pot. Its great to have the two sizes because you can cook for two people or a whole family. It also has two different lids (regular glass lid and pressure cooker lid with all the little knobs and pressure cooking devices) and a pasta basket. The instruction manual was really easy to understand and it even came with a recipe book (because taking a traditional recipe and adjusting timing for a pressure cooker is like rocket science to me haha). I would definitely recommend this set to anyone who enjoys cooking (and saving time)

Great Pressure Cooker
I bought my first pressure cooker back in the 70's and found them to be really temperamental plus was not fond of the cast aluminum body. Let me say emphatically that this is not like the old ones! It's a heavy stainless, easy to use and full of safety features which make it basically idiot proof. This Fagor is far less expensive than some of the other brands and represents a great value for the money. I have used both pots with great success and have been kicking myself since I bought it for not upgrading sooner. If you love to save time and energy while still producing food that tastes slow cooked don't hesitate to purchase this

Very frustrating
Pressurizing is not just fine when follow instructions. I read the instructions and view the videos. I follow the water test and the pressure cooker was fine. In other words, when boiling water the pressure cooker is just fine but when I was cooking real meals the pressure was never generated and all my dishes were burned or under cook. At the end good quality ingredients were wasted.
Thanks Fagor!

Very unreliable
I have attempted to use this pressure cooker about ten times. I have read the directions thoroughly and followed them precisely. Only once did this cooker generate any pressure at all. This is hugely frustrating and I am very disappointed that this expensive addition to my cookware is not in the least reliable. It is only usable as a soup pot or steamer.
