Not sure what happened
I received this olive oil cruet as a wedding gift. We loved it, and used it all the time. I went to fill it up with more olive oil, for the first time, and for some reason after I did that the oil flow stopped working as well. Now we only get a very light stream of oil, takes forever to pour. I just do not understand what could have happened...I literally took the top off, filled it with oil, and put top back on. Please let me know what i can do to fix it and I will change my review to 5 stars.

pretty, but questionable functionality
This is a gorgeous, heavy-duty bottle. However, after only 1 refill, it ceased to pour very effectively. I found myself constantly rotating the bottle to see if I could get a decent pour rather than a tiny dribble. Also, after only 2 refills, the seal on the cork seemed to have deteriorated, such that I got a lot of seeping oil all around the bottle. No matter how tightly I pushed the cork back in, the seal seemed destroyed. Recently the bottle was pushed off the countertop and broke. I am very ambivalent about buying it again. Until they have replacement corks or a way to prevent the diminished pour after a refill, I think I will go back to using grocery bottles.
