This mandolin is SHARP! take my word for it, thanksgiving and the julienne sweet potatoes... wont go into the gory details, but if you want a sharp hand held mandolin this is a good quality one with a lot of features
This is a great value for a sharp, wonderful mandoline. It does a wonderful job on slicing potatoes etc. Easy to use and clean. Ceramic blades are very sharp (I like that!) so follow the directions and use the hand guard
Bought it for my husband, lost it in a move. Needed another exact one. He tried another one ,ordered it online, a mistake, really awful. Glad I remembered where I purchased it from Sur LA Table. This one is perfect for what we need..
Does this have adjustable cutting capabilities? If so, what are the measurements of the slices?

Best Answer:Yes, the blade is adjustable. There is a small rotating square bar underneath the blade that allows for various thickness capabilities depending on which side you turn the bar. It doesn't allow for great variation, but it has worked for exactly what I needed it to work for. Hope this helps!
