Description

Don’t mistake this for just another cake mix—inside this box you’ll find the makings of an incredibly moist cake that tastes like it came straight from your favorite bakery. Made with ingredients you can pronounce—including Fair-Trade, organic and GMO-free ingredients—this easy-to-make mix ensures that you’re never far from sinfully delicious chocolate cake or cupcakes.

Mix requires three large eggs, one cup of milk, and ¾ cups canola oil.

Cooking Instructions:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease two 8" cake pans.
  • Beat eggs, oil and milk until well combined. Slowly add dry mix and beat until smooth. Divide batter evenly between prepared pans.
  • Bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of each cake comes out clean. Let cool in pans for 15 minutes, then turn onto a cooling rack and allow cakes to cool completely before frosting.
  • For cupcakes, mix batter as directed, then pour batter into a greased or lined muffin pan, ensuring that each cup is ¾ full. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes.

Moist, Chocolatey and not too sweet
The flavor is focused on the delicious cocoa taste, and accented by a hint of vanilla bean - not too sweet and super moist!

Canola oil? What would be a good substitute? I would not use canola oil in any recipe, very unhealthy.

Best Answer: Try grape seed oil. Make half receipe to see how it comes out.
