Perfectly inexpensive pitter
I used to have one of the little metal things to pit cherries, but no more! This makes quick work of what used to be a painful job. Now I buy cherries whenever I find them in the store and make so many different dishes with them. Or just eat them as a snack. This is a great pitter for the price

I never thought I'd own one
I received this as a gift and love it! If you have ever made a cherry pie or jam without one, I feel for you. Even though it has a shield, do wear an apron to avoid the occasional ricochet or squirt. The tool comes unlocked in the drawer easier than I'd like, but that is such a minor gripe

It's actually fun!
My daughter and I actually had a lot of fun pitting cherries. Imagine that! This little tool is incredibly easy to use, and it does its job masterfully. We were able to quickly pit and entire bowl of cherries and put them out for our guests and us to enjoy easily. Highly recommended!

Great fun!
I love kitchen gadgets, and this tool does not disappoint! I was through a pound plus of cherries before I knew it! Caveat: Because no two cherries are the same, have mostly "hits" but some "misses." Recommend checking cherries to be sure pit is completely out. Also, don't wear your favorite white tee shirt when you use this tool unless you want cherry juice stains.
