Description

Sharp ceramic teeth grate roots such as ginger while leaving behind unwanted fibers. With a hardness close to that of a diamond’s, ceramic graters stay sharper for longer.

Handy bowl collects the shavings and flavorful juices without reacting to food. Silicone ring on the base holds the grater in place, so it won’t slip when in use.

To use, grate food in a circular motion and use your hands to carefully scoop out food. Never use metal on the grater. Also great for use with elephant garlic. Dishwasher safe. Made in Japan.

Everybody needs this
I had no idea that I needed this item until I bought one. I assumed that my knife did just as good of a job, but I was so wrong. I have used this for garlic, ginger, and turmeric in salad dressings, in teas, and on top of veggies. We no longer eat chunks of these healthful roots that I love (in grated form!).

It sounded like the perfect ginger grater. I have been using a microplaner or garlic press, but wanted to collect the juice more easily.
