A range of meat temperatures is printed on the storage case for quick reference when cooking, and thermometer comes with on/off switch and auto shut off feature for long battery life. For best results, be sure to place probe in the center of the meat to read the temperature. Thermometer measures temperatures from -40°F to 450°F. Uses one lithium battery, included.
