Great Whisk
In addition to being a great silicon whisk that you can use right in a nonstick pan, the cheerful colors make me smile every time I use it

Since I'v never used anything but metal or stainless steel whisks, my concern is that since silicone is pliable - will it require more "elbow grease" to achieve the same results as the steel or wire conterparts?...I'm not wanting a "workout" to whip cream...lol

Best Answer: I believe this is a wire whisk with a silicone coating. It's as firm as my wire whisks and I have not had any problem with it. I don't use it for whipped cream, but the only difference I can see might be that it won't be as cold as a metal whisk. But I can't see that the difference would matter, and it really is a good all around whisk that doesn't scratch my pans or bowls.
