Just the right size!
These dessert dishes are just the right size for pudding, trifle, ice cream, fruits, etc. I received these for Christmas and find that I use them frequently. They also make a pretty but casual presentation. I would highly recommend them

what is the volume of this footed individal serving bowl?

PLEASE list volumes of your products! We shouldn't have to keep asking!

BEST ANSWER: These bowls have a 9 oz capacity.
Are these dessert bowls stackable? Can they go in the microwave oven?
A shopper on Oct 26, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Two stacks fine, one inside the other, stacking more becomes unstable. Also if you have one inside the other you will get wear marks/rings eventually on the smooth inside surface. I stack them in cabinet upside down and each row stacks 1 dish on two bottoms (think playing cards pyramid) like in old fashioned ice cream soda shop, works nicely. These are dessert dishes so I don't use them in the micro for cooking but i have warmed them for 10-15 sec in microwave. I also have chilled in freezer but not for great amounts of time. The case they come in does not indicate freezer or microwave use. I bought eight so used one for experimenting. I would be careful using in micro if syrups are involved as sugar item can start caramelizing and heat would be extreme.
how many ounces does it hold?
A shopper on Feb 6, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I bought a case and it reads 8 3/4 ounces (that would be liquid to the brim amount). Realistically it would be 7- 8 oz to prevent spilling over. It could be up to 9 1/2 oz if thick and able to pile up to peaks (ice cream, mousse etc).
