There are few elite knife–makers–only around 70 master bladesmiths in the country–and just one who specializes in kitchen cutlery: Bob Kramer. Enthusiasts will wait up to three years for one of his handmade originals, but we collaborated with Bob and Shun to bring you this exclusive new collection. Each knife is an exactingly crafted replica of a Kramer original, from the patterned Damascus–steel blades to the natural feel of the rounded PakkaWood® handles and the detailed center pins. This easy–to–use honing rod gently realigns the cutting edges of your Shun Bob Kramer cutlery, enabling you to maintain the razor–sharp blades between sharpenings. While fine European knives can require honing after each use, Shun’s harder steel means you can hone just once a week or so, depending on use.
Gently rounded and richly grained red and black PakkaWood handle is crafted in Bob’s signature contoured shape, which mirrors the curve of the palm for a wonderfully natural hand feel. 9¼" length accommodates a wide variety of cutlery, large and small.
