Size measure

How do you measure the size? Is it from the base in the middle?

BEST ANSWER: These measurements are based on the top diameter of the brioche mold. They are measured edge to edge.
What size recipe is suitable for an 8 inch/6 cup brioche pan--i.e., how many cups flour?
