Chrome-plated-zinc three-in-one egg slicer allows you to easily slice eggs into perfect rounds, ovals or wedges. The silicone base keeps it in place, while the compact design makes it easy to store. Dishwasher safe. 4½" length x 3¾" width x 1" height.
It has a nice feel to it, its heavy and works well. Unfortunately the wire stretches and after about 6 months the wire had stretched enough that it would not cut all the way through. You would have to push the egg through the wires with your finger to finish the slice. I dealt with that for a while until one day the wire was loose enough it caught around one of the plastic points. At that point it was stretched beyond usefulness. Also, I found that the design under the top - where the wire is attached - allowed food to get into crevices that were next to impossible to clean
While the concept is great, the engineering is poor. 1) When you want just slices, not wedges, you must use both hands to hold down the lower slicer while lifting the upper slicer. There should have been a little differentiation between the two slicers to enable you to lift the top with one hand while you're holding the shelled egg in the other. 2) When slicing and then dicing, bits of eggs get caught in the ring where the wires are wound. It's almost impossible to get the bits of egg out and is a health hazard
