Good quality
The egg slicer is high quality. It slices through the eggs effortlessly and is easy to clean. It seems like it will hold up for years.

Seems sturdy but does not last
It has a nice feel to it, its heavy and works well. Unfortunately the wire stretches and after about 6 months the wire had stretched enough that it would not cut all the way through. You would have to push the egg through the wires with your finger to finish the slice. I dealt with that for a while until one day the wire was loose enough it caught around one of the plastic points. At that point it was stretched beyond usefulness.
Also, I found that the design under the top - where the wire is attached - allowed food to get into crevices that were next to impossible to clean

Okay but not great
Although, it slices eggs easier than slicing by hand, i find that little egg pieces get stuck inside some of the groves making it a little difficult to clean

Time Saver
I'm really glad I made this purchase. This egg slicer cuts clean, even slices every time and minimalizes the amount of time spent (and dishes dirtied) while cooking

Will be returning this slicer
While the concept is great, the engineering is poor.
1) When you want just slices, not wedges, you must use both hands to hold down the lower slicer while lifting the upper slicer. There should have been a little differentiation between the two slicers to enable you to lift the top with one hand while you're holding the shelled egg in the other.
2) When slicing and then dicing, bits of eggs get caught in the ring where the wires are wound. It's almost impossible to get the bits of egg out and is a health hazard
