I bought the whole set
The reason I purchased these is that I have a tendency to leave my utensils in the pot or pan while cooking- and the plastic handles in most products melt or the metal handle get so hot it actually burns you. These not only do not melt but they do not heat up so I guess I can say they are ""really cool""? They are sleek which is very nice as I place my favorite utensil in a holder next to the stove and these slim handles have reduced the size by 2/3. They are good quality and nice looking too

Very Solid Turner... but...
The silicone component is super sturdy - can hold a brick sturdy. The trade-off for that sturdiness (at this price) is that it is thicker than one might want for some applications.

Despite that fact, I am happy to have this in my kitchen, though it rarely makes an appearance in my knife roll when I go to work

Pleasant Surprise
I wasn't sure if I would like this turner. I trusted the reviews and I was pleasantly surprised. The turner is sturdy and a good size. I also like the thin handle. Good product.

You Can't Have Too Many Silicone Cooking Utensils
I have two of most of my silicone cooking utensils but only one of these. I find I don't use it as much as I thought I would. Not that it isn't great; it is. But because it's fairly thick when I make lighter fare like omelets, I usually end up using my thinner OXO silicone omelet turner instead. This is perfect for heavier or thicker foods that I saute, e.g., pork chops, chicken cutlets, or fish filets. It's very efficient for that purpose.

I like that with silicone you never have to worry about which type of cookware you're using. Just grab it and go. I use these in my enameled and non-enameled cast ironware, my tri-ply stainless, and my one nonstick pan. I prefer the silicone utensils with the metal handles. To me, they're better balanced in the hand, lightweight, and have the added benefit of not melting if they're accidentally left in a pot or leaning up against a pan. You can't go wrong with this one.
