Loved the "naked" look of the wood. Other reviews were excellent and felt confident that it would make a great gift.

Pot rack proximity to ceiling

I have a low ceiling area I'd like to hang pot rack in so wondering how close to celing pot rack can be hung? Also do you sell an alternative 'flush mount' hardware (as opposed to chains or long rods?

BEST ANSWER: Free up space in your cabinets and store your cookware from above. Solid Vermont maple hardwood with a natural stain is combined with brushed chrome to form this handsome ceiling pot -rack. Top grid can be used for lid storage, while the pot hooks can be looped through the handles of your cookware. Arrives fully assembled with hanging hardware. Must be suspended from solid wood. This item comes standard with 8"" hanging hooks, so that is about as close to the ceiling as you will be able to get it. There is no 'flush mount' hardware offered with this product
Are the eye bolts adjustable on the rack? In other words, do they slide across the top of the rack to accommodate for different ceiling joist widths?
Massimo M on Mar 2, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The bolts on the top of the rack to which the hooks connect to the ceiling eye bolts do not move. They are 16" apart on the long side of the rack and 11" in the width. However, one can adjust to some degree for joists which are not the usual 16" apart. That simply means that the hooks connecting the rack to the ceiling will be at an angle. How much depends on your specific situation and whether it "fits" aesthetically. Hope this helps.
How does this attach to the ceiling?
Peter C on Apr 9, 2015
BEST ANSWER: It comes with 4 eyebolts. They go into the joists in the ceiling. They must go into wood. Sheetrock is not strong enough. You will need a drill and a stud-finder, although I just rap on the sheetrock with my knuckles and it makes a different sound when you're over wood.
