A favorite of professional chefs, this rolling pin is designed for the artisan baker. Features the classic French handle-less design with tapered ends for easy grasping when rolling out pie, tart, cookie dough and more.
Lightweight but durable solid-maple construction with smooth surface that’s highly resistant to scratching and splintering.
I love the heft of this traditional French rolling pin. Its added length accommodates for its lack of ""handles."" And take note! Unlike the pin pictured, both ends are evenly tapered and there is no hole as shown. It's a much cleaner look and functional design; though it eliminates the option to hang it vertically to store. (I tuck mine in the large drawer under my stove with my baking pans.
I've used a rolling pin with handles for years and just switched to this one about a month ago. It's so easy to roll out pizza and pastry dough, then roll it onto the pin and transfer it to the baking dish. This is a great product
In over two decades, I've owned several types of rolling pins. This one is the best one, so far! More control and I love the quality of this product. Easier to use when it comes to rolling out chilled cookie dough or pie crusts
Best Answer:Enough to get the job done but not as heavy as a typical rolling pin with the metal inside that the handles spin on. This one just has tapered handles on the ends to make it easier to roll. Love it!
Best Answer:Yes.If it becomes dirty, dry or old flour sticks to it. Clean it, dry it completely and use a light food grade oil and let it soak in for an hour or so. Wipe it dry and then polish with a clean 100% cotton cloth.
