Love these bowels
I have this whole set of dishes, and I really like every piece.
These bowls are big, but you don't have to fill them up. I not only use them for cereal, but ice cream, sometimes as a serving dish for vegetables, I have used them for dips for a large crowd.
These bowls keep the milk on the cereal cold, and the oatmeal hot, the design makes it easy to scoop up the cereal.
I like the size just the way it is. I guess if they were smaller people would find fault with that also..

Looked EVERYWHERE for bowls this size!
This is a great bowl for microwaving oatmeal, anything smaller results in the oatmeal being everywhere BUT in the bowl. I had one bowl this size, broke it and took two years to find a replacement. I am buying more. They are pretty, practical and just what I wanted

A lovely addition to my set
I have the giant mugs, the small plates, the pasta bowls, and I love the way the ""cereal bowls"" fit into the set. The designs are simpler than on the other pottery, so they do that wonderful kind of mix-and-match thing that makes for a fun, casual table. I love the larger size that some writers complain about. It seems European to me. Also, I can use the bowls for mixing and storage if need be. Just read the directions and do not microwave. This pottery will rapidly chip, crack, even split in the microwave. A lovely addition

Perfect!
I don't know what other people are talking about in regard to these bowls "not being cereal bowls" or being "huge." I have three kids and these are perfect for cereal. Of course we don't fill them to the brim, but who does that with a bowl anyhow? I think maybe they are referencing the individual pasta bowls which I could see as using as a "small serving bowl." The cereal bowls here would never be sufficient for a serving bowl, even a small one.

Huge!
Love the pattern, I have the rest of the set, but this is not a cereal bowl! These are massive and even too big for soup! I wish they had made a smaller bowl to go with this set

NOT A CEREAL BOWL!!!
I am disappointed. This product is not a cereal bowl. You can fit a whole box of cereal in one bowl. Don't be fooled by the name. It is truly twice as large as a normal cereal bowl. If you are looking for a small serving bowl than it will come in handy. I have the plate and soup bowl set, but was looking for literally, a cereal bowl. It looks like I will have to go elsewhere to find one
