Excellent single burner griddle
I have an older and larger version of this griddle that covers two burners and was made in the USA. This little one is made in China, but I can't tell the difference quality-wise.

This round griddle is nice and roomy for when you don't want a huge double burner griddle. The non-stick coating seems high quality. Heats up quickly, and is much easier to maintain an even heat over the entire cooking surface than with the double burner griddle. The edges of the pan are raised, but the sides are still very low. Unlike the large double burner griddle, there is no well for grease run-off on the edges. The cooking surface of this smaller griddle is completely flat until you get to raised edge of the pan.

By the way, the handle does get hot, so use a pot holder. I use pot holders with all my all clad cookware

Love this pan!
I have several All Clad pieces and many our favorites. This one is used daily. I love the even heating and the size is perfect. It makes cooking breakfast easy. I use it for bacon, eggs and pancakes. The handle does get warm so use hot pads.

Just what we needed
This griddle works perfectly for our weekend breakfast for two. The surface heats evenly and there is absolutely no sticking. Pancakes turned out perfectly.

Good quality, does the job
I mainly use this to make hot sandwiches and quesedillas. It's nice and sturdy and I"m glad it's oven safe. Only wish the lip on the edge were slightly higher to handle a flat frittata.

What is the actual diameter of the flat bottom of the pan--the surface that would contact the burner? The largest burner on my ceramic glass cooktop is 9.5 inches and I want to know if this griddle would be safe to use. Thanks!
A shopper on Jan 31, 2015
Best Answer: The actual diameter of the flat bottom on this griddle is 11 inches. I use the griddle on my new double oven Whirlpool stove without a problem.

I'm planning on mostly using this to cook breakfast foods (eggs, bacon, pancakes etc) but do you recommend any other foods that would come out great if i cooked on this? maybe quesadillas? Thank you!
Natalie F on Dec 4, 2014
Best Answer: I use it mostly for items you mentioned but I would say any item that needs to be flipped over this pan makes it much easier to do that without messing the food up. My main reason for this pan is the last one of this design warped from the heat. So far this pan has stayed Flat !!! You will like it !
