In 1974, Breville invented the world’s first scissor-action sandwich maker, selling 400,000 units in its first year—one of the most successful product launches in Australian history. Today, from New Zealand to the UK, toasted sandwiches are still affectionately called “Brevilles,” so much so that the term has been added to the Australian dictionary.

It is now getting my kids to eat leftovers in the shape of a pannini!
great investment... and not hard on my pocket book.
really easy to clean too. my 19 yr old can do it
Always love enjoying a hot pressed sandwich out, but not always thrilled about the quality of ingredients they use at cafes. As a new stay at home Mom, let me tell you this panini press is amazing!!! I have a delicious sandwich in minutes. It is consistent every time too. I wipe it down after use with a little bit of vinegar/water soaked on a paper towel, and the plates are spotless for the next use.
Make several sandwiches & crepes for my husband and he was raving about how delicious they came out. Slightly crispy bread, and warm in the inside.
I ended up purchasing a Panini Cookbook separately, and now that I think of it, the two together would make a lovely wedding gift
While I would have like to have control over temp, ultimately I haven't run into a problem not having that. Turn it on, wait for the green light, and you're cooking
You have to plug it in to turn on and pull the plug when you are finished. Completely ridiculous.
It's a non starter
