My husband delighted me when I spotted this appliance a couple of years ago and said I'd want to get one eventually--he bought it for me that day. The pizzelles are always a hit when I bring a large tray of them, dusted with powdered sugar, to a party. They always get ""ooooooohs and ahhhhhs."" The appliance is both easy to use and super easy to clean
I want to make these cookies this year and distribute them as Christmas gifts to the neighbors. I hate shopping in malls and stores, so on-line is perfect for me. After researching this product, I find this price is comparable to what's on Amazon.
I am reading this as two questions/concerns:1.) non-stick surface chemicals.2.) surface quality.I cannot specifically answer #1; but I can tell you that my children and I have used this product many times over the past few years without any issue of the non-stick surface. No peeling, no chemical odors. This appliance has given my family lots of great memories and our friends have enjoyed the pizzelles we've made. Be prepared for lots of compliments
The pizzelle maker my mother has has a light on the top -- red for when it's heating up and green for when it's at the right temperature to start making pizzelles. Does this one have an indicator light?

The pizzelle maker I have now does not make a very thin cookie regardless of the batter. I want very thin but stable cookies. Not the waffle like cookies I am getting now. Would you say that it is like cracker or more like one layer of a wafer creme cookie?

Best Answer:This pizzelle maker makes very thin, crispy cookies. I would describe them more like a cracker than a wafer
