Great!
I love how my cakes turn out when using Fat Daddio's pans. Everything bakes evenly and when using different sizes, they stack really nicely. I have been baking tiered wedding cakes and have loved using these pans

Well-made pan!
I had been comparing various cake pan makers, and am very pleased that I went with Fat Daddio's. The construction is really sturdy, with nice straight sides for an aesthetically pleasing, evenly baked outcome. Don't waste money on craft store brands that warp -- this is worth the investment if you are serious about baking

great pan!
I bought the 16 x 2 inch pan to bake Chicago deep dish pizza and what a family pleaser it turned out to be. We love deep dish pizza stuffed with lots of sauce, cheese and pepperoni. This pan can hold it all and bakes the crust a perfect crispy golden brown

Best pans I've used.
Whether you're looking for your first set of cake pans or moving up from the olden days of 1" pans (hi mom!) or awful-to-ice slanted pans, look no further: these pans are awesome.

Made of heavy-gauge aluminum, they feel great in your hand, don't warp, and stay stable even loaded up with heavy batter. They also heat evenly, leaving you with some of the most gorgeously uniformly golden crusts you could ask for. (I'm a food photographer as well as a baking enthusiast, so I'm a sucker for a great result with little effort.)

My only real complaint is that they take up a lot of cupboard space. Truly straight-sided, they will stack but not nest -- the pans only sit around 1/4" into each other.

Love the quality and all the sizes
I bought 2 of the 6"" size to make layered cakes for smaller gatherings. The pans cook evenly, released the cakes nicely, and were easy to clean up. They are a nice weight too, so you don't have to work about warping at all.

It is fun to be able to make a smaller layered cakes. They are very cute and we don't have too much left over after the party

This cake pan is the perfect size for not wasting products or ingredients. I thought it was wonderful in portion control when serving at a small dinner party. Easy to clean.

Fat Daddio pans give a more evn bake and also bake without that dreaded "dome" affect and for those of us who regularly bake cakes that are stacked this is a huge plus. The pans are a great quality and they last for many many years

I purchased these to make smaller cakes, since there are only two of us and it seems wasteful to make a full cake for only two people. I haven't tried these yet so I'm not sure how recipes will translate to smaller pans.

Do the Fat Daddio Cake Rounds Stack?

I'm interested in the 8x2"" Fat Daddio cake pans, but need to know if they're made to stack or if they're the professional straight sided, non-stacking type

Where are these pans made?
Robert J on Oct 9, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I did a quick on-line search, including the Fat Daddio's website, and then unpacked and looked at a couple of my pans. I found no information anywhere about country of origin. So I called Fat Daddio's toll free number and was told up front that they're manufactured in China. I know this isn't what you want to hear. But I can tell you that I've purchased a lot of these pans, and they're very uniformly and nicely made. I haven't found any manufacturing flaws in them, and I'm picky. I haven't used them a lot yet, but I do like them a lot. Check out their website for a full catalogue and good information about using the pans. Their website instructs you to bake at 325 for most uses, so they're a bit of an energy saver. I bought these pans because I think they're the best straightforward pans, and the best bargain, for baking layer cakes and cheesecakes. I hate the China thing, too, but I've made my peace with it in order to have what I think is an excellent product. Hope this helps!
